Diy Stand And Canopy

I want to make a canopy and stand for my 125 gallon fowlr. Has anyone had experience building their own stands/canopy? Any advice, tips or tricks would helpful. Thanks!

Tessalata... I did a good bit of research before I started. I had never tried to build a furniture grade stand. I didn't have a table saw...so all my cuts were preplanned and made at Home Depot. The one thing you will want to solve before you start your build is: how many doors and what size the door will be? Cabinet doors can be made to any size for a price, but if money is an issue (it was for me), you can use standard sizes and find a decent used door at a recycle store (Building Material or Dirt Cheap??)

Stand looks nice. I actually like the open concept. I often leave the front of mine off till the wife gets annoyed with the fuge light.
