well the 55 is no longer, but now that the 75 is running strong I figured I would put up some photos. i am still going to do some rearranging with the rocks but I like having the open side for the brains (I think I have room for one more  now)

As you can see from my tank build I'm in transition right now, everything is being sorted and conglomerated to achieve the design I'm looking for, but here is a tank I've had set up in the last year, elements of which will be inforporated into my new tank.

My Jetties Nano, a 10 gallon tank I got TOTM on Nano-Reef with, a stylized view of what I see when I dive or snorkel at St. Andrew's State Park.

Some of it's long term residents:

Later then tank was expanded to a 20L

with more livestock collected from the Keys

Gulf of Mexico "plant rock" tank covered with about 20 species of Macroalgaes. Also lots of sponges, tunicates, a few corals, etc...

Tank looks much better than this lousy picture.

All great looking tanks Guys!

Everyone is invited to begin a tank thread and describe your system and corals. Anything special you think is successful and why you chose any particular equipment. Your reefkeeping philosophy and favorite corals. Lots of pics of corals and equipment! Can't wait to see it!

Thanks!!..I really like the idols...I don't have him anymore...when I got him...he was about half that size and was great in the reef..never bothered/picked at anything...I kept that tank well feed though cause of all the different fish with the corals at the same time...but when he got to a certain age..he did begin picking at my corals..1 day I watched him picked at like 6 different corals in 1 pass of the tank! ha ha..and wound up eating like $600 of my zoa garden...then I had to put him in the FOWLR...they are good til they get big in a mixed reef..just inevitable that nature takes over i guess..
