Just keep an eye on the snails or crabs in your system and keep them in the area they are supposed to be in.  They seem fond of getting on float valves like those and holding them down.

Swapped out old heater for a working one so temp is stable now. Hung a spare light to help cycle, threw some dry rock in sumo for now. 8c25d9c2d40a705e0c25fd9ee993d09a.jpg put dcp-6500 in and runs silent, no restart issues so far.

The 125 will be coming down once I get everything transferred to this one, and the 200 is going in its place. The 5 gallon nano is still kicking strong too.

Been adding ammonium chloride for about a week, stopped for a few days and cloudiness cleared up. Gonna test levels tonight. Just waiting on flatworm exit and revive to come in so I can dip while transferring sections over from 125.

Oh sorry Dakota forgot to warn you about the possible bacterial bloom/cloudiness that has a chance of happening. But I see you figured it out.

It’s one of the perks of having multiple tanks running. I have the patience to say “eh... give it a week, it will work itself out.” Just found out the heater gave up so time to come grab one from SB tomorrow.

Turned the light off for a few days to slow down the diatoms. Finally got into some testing today. Dosed ammonium chloride for about a week and stopped for about a week now.

Ph- 7.8
Nitrite- 5+
Nitrate- 5
Ammonia- 0

Looks like I’ll be dipping and transferring some rock today to see if I can kick the cycle a little more.

So between being busy with all kinds of projects, finally got a little more done. Got some cycling done and started dipping rocks and corals in flatworm exit and Cemiclean in a tote before moving them into the new tank. fb7ca496c7cc0ad6e50227cf367d23e1.jpg been taking breaks between dipping sessions so as not to stress or crash anything. Got probably another 20 pieces to dip and transfer from the 125. 66823d52d9241a344f2bb74768afea10.jpg

Had a few mushrooms split, but no loss so far. f4e7d7c60906fb425ce23aba80c2e221.jpgPut leather in the fuge and it started opening back up after a few days a91c515979f515778ead0e787251bd23.jpg
