Steel stand leveling

Recommended Posts

I've never had a steel stand, so just want to be sure I did this right :)  Stand has a total of 8 legs with leveling feet.  I raised all 4 inside feet and initially leveled with only the four corner feet until everything was dead on, according to my level.  After the tank was on the stand I added a little water to fine tune it.  For the four inside legs do I just snug them down to the floor now about hand tight with maybe a little tiny extra twist?  If I go overboard I'll knock out the level, not enough and it won't support or spread the weight.  I'm assuming if just a tad past hand tight a tiny bit of deflection once full will have them bearing weight?

Thanks!  I'll hopefully get the sumps plumbed in this weekend and past that point getting to those inside back legs will entail having to remove the sumps and the plywood they sit on so hoping I got it right and won't need any additional adjustments once everything is filled :)
