  1. Still playing around with the powerheads to find the perfect flow programs/patterns. It's work, but fun work. With an MP60+ 2 each Tunze 6105s I'm pushing over 80x my display volume at max output. I've put the wide flow nozzles on the Tunzes and that works out great! With the narrow ones I was getting really great flow velocity but literally pushing water out of the tank lol. All three are controlled via APEX so I've got some pretty nice programs that have really brought out the acro's PE. Not even a slight dead spot to speak of and I've got really cool push button feed modes. Each programed to do a different type of feed. I've got a program for spot feeding corals, another for broadcast feeding, then one for fish pellets, and the last is for frozen stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. My yellow also harassed my new powder brown, they are just like that. My powder brown was big enough to fend the yellow off so it's all good. Could try removing the yellow to a holding tank and introduce him later after the Naso. Or, get an acclimation box and let the Naso hang out in that for a while so the yellow gets used to it. Or, redo some of your aquascape just before adding the Naso, many recommended that. Or, get a bigger Naso. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I would get the BRS 4 stage plus if you don't have chloramines or the 6 stage for all around better water. Then just purchase the drinking water kit from BRS to add to it. I would not buy a system from Lowes. Their filters are not made well like BRS. BRS carbon blocks are heavy and have much more carbon for less$$, also the sediment filters are better and you really need a DI stage for reef tanks. I have a BRS 6 stage water saver plus, all upgraded from the 4 stage and so glad I did because I make water 2x fast with 1/2 the waste water and get more product water from every filter. 10. The -6 outs out a lot of flow. It sends water to my 180 and my dedicated 40 cheato fuge. Anymore flow and either would overflow. I upgraded my pump from the old discontinued RO-DC-5500 to the Varios-6 which has a bigger power supply (24VDC to 36VDC) and more flow. With 1 1/4" PVC I only lose about 300-400 gph due to head pressure lose. I could easily run additional reactors if I wanted to. Keep that in mind because when adding reactors they need the additional pressure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Yes, the -6 can be turned down on the controller included. Has 5 speed settings, I'm sure you can get the flow you need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. That looks a lot like the same coral I have but mine the flesh is not green, more white actually. Could be the same thing, just different environmental conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Where are you located and do you have an APEX? As for the pump vibration, a short run of silicone tubing between the pump and return line plus a silicone mat around the pump whereever it makes contact should isolate the vibration and quiet it down considerably.
