  1. 24” 4 bulb deep blue pro ($30 or trade)

24” 4 bulb t5 by Deep Blue Pro. Comes with extra bulbs and ballast. One of the channels flicker occasionally. Works well otherwise just getting rid of some extra equipment. $30 or trade for other marine equipment or fishing gear. 850-fiveone6-7nine1five. Text preferred Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve never run my UV that high so I couldn’t speak to it. Maybe try kicking them down at some point too, it’s a lot harder to do damage with to little light. Ya can over light in a super short amount of time comparatively. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. First coral

I’m a fan of mushrooms as starters myself. Ya get to see them open and close and respond to changes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Sbreef ultra leds intensity

The first time I transitioned I left up the T-5 I started with and added the LEDs on low for a few weeks because I had the room. The next time I switched to a new tank I just started at 10% and went up 5% ish every other week till I got to where I am. Also if you bump up your carbon in a reactor the water column may clear significantly enough to significantly impact your par. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Takes a lil while to acclimate to new types of lights, also blue is a lot stronger par than it appears to the human eye. Best practice I can say is start low and work up. I’ve never had and issue with SB light being to strong (even though I know they are high output) I’ve always ran them 12-18” above the tank, and my softies don’t seem to mind. I’ve always ran a mixed reef and the only thing I’ve ever had to move down was a frogspawn that I brought home from Tallahassee that was under basic shop light fluorescents at the store. Now it sits 1/2 way up in the new tank, same lights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not that it’s actually an answer but I run a pair of 16 SB Wi-Fi’s 18 inches above a 75 gallon bowfront like this I get good growth and everything from zoas and mushrooms bottom to middle level and plating Monties to Branching sps’s mid to high level do well with good polyp extension. I didn’t take a whole lot of input to get to this point but it has seemed to do well for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

got the rest of the coral moved over, most doing really well. the stunner that got broke during the move didn’t even seem to care, hanging flesh still alive and glued broken piece up and has almost doubled in a month. and the encrusting monti is stronger than cyano, it is taking over the frag rack. Literally “pushing” the cyano from the dead Idaho grape back... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
