  2. Problem is gonna be catching the damn Yellow....and I DON't want to stress him out. It didn't help the Naso was literally half the size of the and learn, that lesson cost me $60 bucks. But, the Coral beauty I got at the same time is doing great! And by isolation, yes, I mean acclimation.....I just got a small 1 gallon tank to put them in, like a little prison until they get used to each other.
  3. Well, I have about a 4" Yellow Tang, maybe a bit smaller. I've been wanting a I made a trip to get one. Instead of a bigger one they had a small Naso, maybe 2". I pulled the trigger, since they were different "species" and I thought it would be nice to watch the Naso grow. Well.....the Yellow and the FoxFace both harassed the piss outta him for like 2-3 days. The FoxFace stopped, but the Yellow continued. He didn't eat and was always backed in a rock corner. Needless to say.....he succumbed to the stress of the harassment, stabbing and starvation didn't help. I tried to put him a QT tank, but it was too late. My dilemma is, I still want a Naso. Next plan....and this is where I want advise on whether I'm a dipshit and should leave it alone. I plan to buy another Naso "bigger" than the Yellow, put him in the QT for at least a week and then drop him in the tank in a isolation tank (small 1 gallon tank) for a couple days until it seems to be clear to go hot and let him loose. Thoughts?
  4. Well, the whole purpose is a "good enough" system, small foot print to keep outta sight. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  5. So, want to install an RO systems for water changes and got to thinking.....why not install one that is dual purposed. The below RO system can be installed under the kitchen to provide clean water....for drinking, would this also not be good clean RO water for water changes as well? I question how often the filter would have to changed though.

  9. True... part that pisses me off is I think I'm asking a good price for he was getting.. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  10. I think thickness is irrelevant if cost negligible.... So I'd go 1" as long as you have the surface area and a good bond. Unless I missed it, why aren't you using the holes? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  11. Just give me a holler when he moves the biggin! Even if he doesn't need the extra help, i'd like to see the process! Also, went to hist store a Coral Beauty and smallish Naso......right now my Yellow Tang and Fox Face (so much for peaceful) are bullying the Naso, sometimes pretty hard. Hope the booger works out and they cool their jets after a couple days!
  12. Nice, and FYI, crab island is a good place to get Hermit Crabs, just best to have a license just in case
  13. Need a better pic than that bro!
  14. drauka, Ordered a red silicone cooking mat....and yes it worked. Put a sponge over one of the drains....and now 95% of what sound is left gets muffled when shutting up the cabinet. bif, I don't have an Apex......and I live in Navarre.
  15. Somebody contacted me on Craigslist to buy my 75......what is it with folks wanting something for nothing. He offered $200.....but wanted all the livestock and fish as well. Really! I told them they're delusional, do your research, that price would be helluva lot more if I were selling "everything"! Good news, it may have also pissed the wife off enough to get her to let me keep it.....predator tank here I come But, until I get the nod, it is still for sale.
