  2. Marine land rimless 45 cube

Up for sale 45 gallon rimless cube drilled for internal overflow with a glass holes over flow kit installed. 1.5 inch drain and two 3/4 inch returns. Most of the return plumbing is still intact which includes a sqwd device and is included. Tank was powered by a mag 9.5(not included) includes custom glass sump, stand, and floating hood. No scratches that I am aware of, I bought tank brand new and it is approximately three years old. Was a great tank I just upgraded to larger tank and not interested in running multiples. i will post a picture later but if you are interested in seeing in person I am available most evenings and live in FWB would like to get $200

  4. I have Officially Lost my Mind, 240 Build

I know one thing for sure is it weighs as much as a tank. Glad to help, was great hanging out. Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What is this and how do you get rid of

What powerheads do you have and how big is the tank. A lot of times you just end up with dead spots that are hard to combat. If you are light on flow you could add one and aim it at the spot, if you have plenty maybe just a redirection of your current ones would work. Fighting cyano takes a while so try changing flow pattern and suck as much out as you can and see if it helps. Chemi clean will make it go away but in my experience it just comes back. Hopefully you can get it taken care of. Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Trying It Again, 40 Breeder, Well Maybe 93 Cube

That totally sucks. If I had an extra forty I would sent it your way but all I have is a twenty long and a ten. Always there to help if you need me. Rich Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Dr Foster and Smith Salt

I have mixed one batch. Mixes easily. Have only done one small water change with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. ATS

Look forward to seeing how it works for you. I have thought about ATS on several occasions but I have space for a large refugium and it works so well I never really thought the cost was worth trying. Keep us posted on its progress and did you build it yourself? Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. 75 to 150 Doing to Great!

Upgrade looking good. Always nice to see progression as tanks mature and grow. Richard
  11. Digital Testers By Hanna Instruments

Somehow I feel that colorblind comment was for me. So what if I have the same coral in my tank in three different places. The hannah checkers are very nice but according to the masses Drauka is correct that the only real useful ones are the ALK and Ultra low range phosphate(phosphorous). The calcium would be great but the tests are not reliable for most because the mixing has to be so exact it is almost impossible to get right. So if like me and cannot see colors you are best to get the tried and true kits and make you kid watch the colors lol. Richard
  12. Starting a new swtup and quarintine swtup

Patience is always the hardest part of the hobby but if you can pull it off it always makes things better in the end. And as far as extra boxes of stuff, if you don't have them then you are not really into the hobby. Richard
  13. Our reef tank

Hard to tell what all you have in there but love that octopus painting above the tank. Look forward to future pictures. Richard

  16. So Drs Fosters and Smith have released their own sea salt brand. I was looking to order salt and ran across it. I have been using Red Sea Coral Pro. I have had no issues with my current salt but the stats of the new Pro Reef Salt are hard to ignore especially when you consider it was regularly priced at $65 for a 205 gal box, and currently is on sale for $10 off or currently they are running a 20% off coupon code so it was $51.66 after coupons and sales tax. I figure for that cost if I don't like the way it mixes I can afford to toss it. There are currently no reviews that I can find and it is back ordered to the 29 but when it comes in I will mix up 50 gallons and test it and post results. Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Fish Trap Request

Take a soda bottle and cut the top off and then turn it in on itself so the mouth piece is in the inside. Put some shrimp in it and wedge it down in tank somewhere. Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Acrylic rod

I have a five foot piece of acrylic rod if someone wants it. I bought to secure rocks in my tank and they fit together so securely I never bothered. Free! Located in FWB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry having issues Kevin. If I can be of assistance let me know. Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. apex

Fred, I had an issue with mine pretty early on and was frustrated as I think anyone that just dropped hundreds would be. Their tech support required a little patience due to scheduling but once I was on phone and actively working they were very helpful and quickly got me back up and running. Like Dave said I think anything electronic with that many variables is bound to have an issue with something sooner or later. Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Algaebarn.com

Anyone have any experience with algaebarn.com? Or ever consider ordering from them. I was thinking of ordering some pods to replenish what I lost when I redid my sumo and which has never recovered for some reason. They have a mixture of three pods that looks like what I want but just thought I would ask you guys what you thought. Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
